EWG Skin Deep® Ratings for All Monat Products I’ve received compliments from friends and family about how healthy and shiny my hair looks, which is a testament to the quality of monat oil reviews‘s products. I actually had to figure out what Monat sold. Was it replacement shakes, like most of my reviews? I read about the company’s history and their culture and I like that they’re a family owned business. I don’t like that I’ve emailed the company numerous times asking for clarification of ingredients and monat skincare reviews have received no response.
I am now on a routine of using my clarifying shampoo at least once a week if not every other week and Monat for the other washes. This is not a full of list of every harmful ingredient or ingredient linked to serious issues; that review would simply be too long. I chose certain ingredients that have well established information regarding toxicity and have been effectively studied.

If you elected to style your hair instead, I would recommend applying the Thermal Protector Styling Shield when your hair is still damp.
I use this to protect my hair from the heat that I put on it. This product has caught my attention because even though my hair still steams a little bit when blow-drying it, it’s no nowhere near as much as before I began using this which is great! I went into it watching a Instagram influencer, thinking that it would help my hair, well guess what, IT HAS MADE MY HAIR THINNER. I’ve followed all the steps, oiling my hair twice a week, using the hair mask.
Even my aunt said my hair looked thinner. I promise you, follow those girls on insta who use natural oils and rosemary water for hair growth, that’s the real knowledge not this CRAZY EXPENSIVE hair care that has literally thinned my hair. Plus, if you look at the ingredients of Monat, you’ll see that their products have so many chemicals and that’s the WORST thing if you’re looking to grow your hair and make it thicker.
Do Monat Hair Care Products Cause Hair Loss?
The ideal consumer for Monat doesn’t have sensitivities or allergies to Monat ingredients.
Of course, it’s possible you could have a sensitivity and not know until you use Monat and have a negative reaction. Procataline, a proprietary blend in some Monat products, supposedly works as an antioxidant to protect your hair from environmental damage. To substitute my beloved Trinity Protein Cream by Surface (my leave-in treatment and strengthener), I massaged in a little bit of Monat’s Restore leave-in Conditioner.
It wasn’t quite as magical as Trinity Protein Cream ($28.96/4oz). Conditioner, the cost breakdown is $23 (for the distributor), $28 (VIP) or $33 (retail). There may be horror stories online as well as negative reviews, but there are also many satisfied customers who return to the business again and again.
